"Elizabeth Hunt has my vote in the Primary for the State Senate race.

"Vermont remains a wonderful place to live, but our state’s core infrastructure and institutions continue to face serious challenges. We lack a sustainable funding mechanism for education; housing remains unaffordable for many; and the health care system is in crisis. 

"With the state primaries fast approaching, it is time to take a critical look at all the candidates running for the Senate as well as for state office and state representative. And, it is time to consider change, to consider new candidates with fresh ideas and the energy to bring those ideas to the table.

"Elizabeth Hunt is a candidate with real-life experiences that will guide her work in the Senate. She is wife and mother who has been willing to step up and serve her community, and she is ready to serve Vermont the same way. As a practicing primary care physician who  has also served on many state committees focused on improving public health, Elizabeth Hunt brings working knowledge of our healthcare system, knowledge that will help shape the debate in the State House. I have visited with her on the campaign trail, and I believe her fresh approach to our housing and education crises, as well as to health care, will set us on a path of finding real solutions.
