We need a doctor in Montpelier

"It's been 50 years since a working doctor represented Vermonters in the state Senate.

"Dr. Elizabeth Hunt, a practicing pediatrician in South Burlington who lives in Charlotte with family, is ready to step up and represent the needs of our district.

"Elizabeth is running as a Democrat to represent the Chittenden Southeast District.

"In her exam room, she sees the struggle people young and old face with family finances. The root cause of high costs of housing, child care, property taxes and education is the exorbitant cost of health care.
